I've been a little MIA on update posts for the past few weeks, but I had a few good reasons!
One of them being I had Midterms and had to get the studying done to do well on the tests. If anyone is wondering, I got my grades over the weekend and I have A's in all of my classes except one I have a B+. I am going to work on that though, and get it up!
So what have you missed? Besides loads of studying and reports that would bore you to sleep if I talked about them anymore. (So I won't.)
I discovered I get easily distracted these days, and focus on what I am doing too much at times. I found this out the hard way while I was staring down at my digital design project while walking through the quiet computer lab, and then walked right into the glass window next to the door..
Loud bang, LOL
I didn't turn around to see how many saw me, I just laughed out loud and found the door, LOL I mean what else could I do, right...
RUNNING UPDATE
I have been enjoying the trails and exploring while out running. I'm starting to feel stronger and stronger and my knee that I tore the cartilage in a couple of months ago while moving rarely bothers me much when I run. Though I hate to admit, I didn't keep my consistency up on the weekends I traveled.
TRAVELING
I took a couple of weekend trips. Two weeks ago I took the 5-hour drive up north to see one of my cute nieces to get baptized. It was a bit of a rushed trip.
Then after midterms, I had fall break so I took the long drive again and was able to spend 4 days hanging out with my family and a few of my friends.
One one note, I have gotten a lot of singing at the top of my lungs time in, I mean what else was I going to do with over 20 hours of driving over the past few weeks, LOL
I even broke out some of my old school tunes, since you know no one to embarrass myself in front of:)
Speaking of being up north. I hung out with my sisters and one left us alone in her house while she left. (She ditched us, LOL)
Well she has this locked room, it was the kids toy room. It had one of those outdoor locks on it, and back in the summer (July) my nephew locked it and they haven't been able to get into it since then.
That just felt like a "I must accomplish this feat."
My sister who lives there tried drilling out the lock, no luck.
A hammer was taken to the handle, no luck.
So my one sister and I got our criminal on and went on You Tube and just over a minute later of a video, I learned how to pick a lock.
Let me just say, yes it is both easy and difficult. But once I caught on to where the two bobby pins needed to go, and how to work them. I was in, within minutes!
So AWESOME! But now that I know how easy it is to break into someones house and locked doors, I am a little more concerned about my own locks at my place, LOL
Definitely going to buy one of those door stopper things now that they show on infomercials that make it so the door can't be pushed in. Seriously, I think I am great for learning to pick locks, but if I can do it, so can anyone and that's a bit scary!
One of my drives, I stopped to do a little hiking in Kolob Canyon, this is on the North West side of Zion National Park. I heard the fall leaves were in bloom and they sure were, it was beautiful. I even got out and did a short hike, before getting back in the car to drive another 4 hours!
The Grow Your Blog Hop(s) starts this week, and many who used to know I was a more frequent blogger may be wondering how I am going to pull this off.
Truth is, I wondered too! Kidding...
But I had promised many I would hold it, and I really do enjoy hosting them. So I slacked a little this past month on a few posts, and instead got ready for the hop.
While it will be a little difficult on days I have big assignments and no time, I know I can get it done and pull it off. But most importantly it's going to be fun!
I've made some adjustments requiring 50% less time commitment and less participants than in the past. We'll see how the participants like that!
I purposely made it for after my Midterms were over so I wouldn't have that part to worry about!
Hope everyone has been doing great! With all the busy studies and traveling I haven't been able to get around much on the blogs much so I am looking forward to catching up with you all!
For those who may be visiting my blog for the first time through the hop, welcome! I am looking forward to getting to know you all better!

5 TIPS FOR CREATING YOUR POST
1. Don't do anything out of what you'd normally do!
Yes, this is a day you will shine, a day everyone in the hop and others who are unofficially participating in the hop will visit and comment on your blog post. So you do want it to show who you are, what you blog about in the best ways. So you will want to spend extra time to make sure it’s your best work. But don't create a post that you would never normally create.
This is your day to entice new blog followers, you want to stay true to who you are as a blogger, not create something specific that you don't normally post about just for the sake of the hop.
However, this hop has a Healthy Living theme to it, so your post should reflect a topic that would appeal to any aspect of it. ex. Food, Fitness, Running, Mind & Body, Diet & Nutrition, Sports, Recreation, Physical Activity, Safety etc...
2. Make sure you leave links to follow your blog in your post.
This is your day to grab new followers, but if you don't make it easy for them to follow you then why would they if they can't quickly figure out how?
Keep in mind most view blogs on mobile or tablet devices, so the fancy follow buttons you've installed on your blog webpage, may not show up for those users.
While you don't need to add all your follow options, it's always best to include the social media channels you are most active on. If you're not sure what shows up on a computer vs a mobile device then pull up your own blog on one of each and see.
3. Don't be too lengthy and don't be too short.
Depending on whom you ask you'll likely get a different answer. Some say posts less than 500-1,000 words aren't worth writing. Others may tell you they only like to read 300-500. Which is best for you? That is only something you can decide based on past interaction with bloggers on past posts you have written.
Because this is a hop, keep TWO things in mind. Everyone is busy and doesn't have time to read a novel. However, don't write a post too short that others can't tell your personality and writing style from it. After all, we are all deciding if we want to keep following the bloggers we meet in the hop after it is over.
4. Basic Grammar and Spell Check.
No one in the hop is going to get on your case if you make mistakes, we all do. I doubt I've ever created a perfect post yet. However, one of the easiest things you can do is spell check. Posts with obvious errors are less likely to flow and appeal to the average viewer. Do your best with a little basic grammar checking too, a post that is easy to read is going to attract more than one that doesn't!
5. Use images and clear images.
When it comes to blogs and reading online studies have shown we like visual tools. Not only that, you should always include at least 1 pinnable image per post, so that others who like it can pin and share. Additionally, clear pictures that don't give the viewer a headache are going to help tell the story, explain your theory, peak our attention.
MOST IMPORTANT - Create your post well in advance! This will give you more time to polish it up and it won't appear to the rest of us as something that was rushed.
9 Time Management Tips for Bloggers, Creating and Writing Blog Post Edition
Blogging takes time, quite a bit of time. If you aren't managing your time correctly, you'll find you can easily waste a lot of it. There are several aspects of blogging and truthfully there are things you can do time management wise in each category. But for today, I'd like to tackle a specific category, time management for post writing.
Keep a notepad or something handy to jot down ideas wherever you go:
Most of your best idea's for blog posts will likely come to you at random times. Which is why if you keep a notepad or something with you anytime an idea pops into your mind, you'll be able to put it down and think more on it when you have more time. It will also help, so you don't forget that great idea.
If I don't have my book handy, I almost always have my cell phone, so I also have a folder on it where I text myself ideas.
Brainstorm before you sit to write:
If you wait to brainstorm when you are sitting down to write your posts, you're already not doing so well in blogging time management. In fact, you are probably adding double the time to it.
If you keep an idea book, as your working throughout your days brainstorm on an idea or two ahead of time that you may want to write about later that day when you sit down to do so.
If you are worried about forgetting, make a quick note in your notebook to help you remember part of your brainstorm process.
I actually find the best time to plan my posts and what I'd eventually like to put together in them, are the times when I am doing other things like out on a run, driving or waiting in line at the grocery store and sometimes even when chatting with friends. The times where I can let my thoughts roam freely when they are not forced.
Writing your posts:
I hear all the time people say they get writers block, or can't think of things to write about when they have time to write posts. Well that's usually because they don't do the first two steps above. If you're constantly waiting to do the entire creative process when you sit down to write a post that may have only taken 30-60 minutes to write could easily take double or triple that.
Instead when you sit down to write, just write! Look in your notebook, and pick the idea that has been most recently on your mind and write straight non-stop typing.
I do a 20 minute non-stop writing process. I've heard other bloggers do 30-45 minutes a day. Where you just sit down and write, let the fingers flow as you put down everything you previously brainstormed on a subject.
Daily writing:
While blogging is a lot of fun, it's also a lot of work. Which is why I highly recommend writing 4-5 days a week 20-30 minutes at each sitting.
These are times you can put together previous brainstorm ideas, and begin formulating them, saving them as drafts to finish or continue another time. This also helps you form better blogging/writing habits, putting yourself on a schedule.
It allows you to enjoy the first love of bloggers, which is to create/write!
Editing process:
9 times out of 10 I will sit down and freely write posts, and then go back and edit them a few days to a few weeks later.
This does a lot of things. Gives you time to walk away from your posts and look at them with a fresh set of eyes.
It becomes easier to delete things, that originally you may have thought were important to include, but after going back and looking at it, realize a lot of things are unnecessary. (This is especially helpful for those of us who tend to be long winded.)
This really doesn't have to take much time, the better you get at it, you will find you can easily go in and fully edit a post ready to publish in 10 minutes or less.
Picture editing:
Personally, I prefer to have at least one image for each post. But at times 3-6 depending on the type of post. Editing and creating images take time, sometimes as much time as it takes to write post.
I suggest doing image/picture editing/creating once a week.
Go back and pick 3-5 posts that are in the finishing stages or ready for the editing stage, and create images for them all at once.
I find that if it's all done on a specific day, it's easier to get it all done and surprisingly ends up working out faster than if I only edited pictures one at a time for each post.
Don't be a blog snob:
If all your doing is promoting your own material all the time, then your not going to get as far as you would if you'd spend a few minutes each day helping promote others blogs as well. Blogging is a lot of give and take. If you constantly only take, you're going to run out of room to grow. But if you're giving when you can, others will help you take your blog to the next level. Plus, that is the fun part about blogging!
Accept guest bloggers:
If your running out of time to blog, then why not accept guest bloggers. As long as they have a writing style that you feel your viewers would like. Why not allow a few guest bloggers to help you out at different times of the year to give yourself a little break in the writing process.

1. Ignore the numbers, don't check your stats often. Once a month is more than enough. Blogging is different than a regular website. Your return for your hard work can take a month or show to actually start giving you accurate numbers.
2. If you don't have anything to say, then yes it's okay to not say it. Don't post to post. Not only is it a waste of your time, but likely if you didn't have a plan, it's a waste of your viewers time. Remember to respect your viewers, and they will respect you!
3. Say NO, if you are overwhelmed and a company or program you are affiliated with wants you to run a post for them. If you don't have time, just say no. They aren't going to dump you, and they will respect that you don't have the time to put something quality together.
Those are my tips.
Granted if you are a "day in the life" blogger these likely may not help you much. Because generally if you are a day in the life blogger your writing and posting as your day goes.
However, if you are a content writer, scheduler, planner then some of these tips may help you.
I find when I do steps 1-2, when I sit down to write I've never had a time where the words didn't just flow. I never run out of content, in fact I have far more than I'll probably ever be able to use. Sometimes you may write something and end up saving it as a draft to use months down the road. Nothing wrong with that, in fact once you get into blogging and begin networking with others daily, you'll find steps 1-2 will save you hours of time each week!
Those are my time management tips for creating posts.

The saying, if you build it, they will come. Doesn't always ring true in blogging. The truth is, if you create it, and put the hard work into building it up, then they might come!
So today, I want to share 5 ways you can network with other bloggers, and help grow your blog.

Some bloggers do try to visit every single blogger who visit their blog. However, not all do. Larger and huge blogs likely will never return your comment. Even smaller bloggers, may not be interested in growing their blog and networking. If you have left 4-5 comments on different posts on their blog, and you don't see they have ever reciprocated. Chances are they may never. So you can either just read their blog for the fun of it, or move onto a blogger who is interested in networking.
Pin Images, and Share their post on social media.
This is one thing that almost every blogger would love others to know and understand. If you like something a blogger writes, why would you not want to share it with others?
You would want someone else to do the same for you too, correct?
So if you have that extra 10 seconds or less to share someones blog post, then do it!
They will notice, and if you do it for them, they are going to be far more likely to do the same for you! After a while, they will take notice of you, you may even find a new blog follower and friend yourself from it too.
Join a Weekly Link up or a Blog Hop.
A great way to get to know other bloggers who are interested in networking is to join a link up and actually participate in it.
I wrote a post on blog link up etiquette HERE that you should definitely read if you aren't sure what they are or how to participate in them.
When you participate in link ups correctly, you will not only be visiting other blogs, but they will be visiting yours. At the end of one day, you may already have found a few more interesting blogs to follow yourself, and likely someone else is thinking the same thing about yours too.
5 Ways to Network with other bloggers and #GrowYourBlog http://goo.gl/dydKlA #bloggersunite @runwybridlplanr
Interact with them on social media.
Sometimes getting to know a blogger just on their blog alone can be a little difficult. Try following them on their social media channels (they might even do the same and follow you back.) But interact with them. Drop them a "like" or if you have the time, leave them a quick comment on their social mention or pictures.
It helps if you use your social media that is related to your blog. If possible you want to have your social media links match your blog name, or as close as possible. This way, other bloggers know who you are. Eventually, they will pick up that you care what they have to say or post and your chances of their networking back with you will increase significantly.
Put together your own blog tribe.
What is a blog tribe? A group of like minded bloggers that have common interests and common goals. You work together occasionally on projects, run ideas off each other. As well as a group that is interested in helping each other out collaborating efforts to grow your blogs.
It will take a while to get to this point. Because you won't want to pick bloggers at random. Likely these will be bloggers you have followed, and also follow you and you've noticed great friendships developed between you and them. It could be something officially between you all, or something unsaid. But knowing that you have a small group that you can turn to any time you need help with something, or need to push out posts or projects your working on. Those are the types of things, besides wonderfully great friendships that can come out of finding a blog tribe. Not only that, but if your hoping to have a successful blog, a blog tribe really could be consider essential to finding success.

5 Reasons Why Every Blogger Needs an About Me Page
When I first started to put together February's Grow Your Blog Hop. I looked over past participants suggestions on what they would like to see from bloggers they might be interested in networking with.
Over half of all the suggestions given mentioned these:
* They said it was hard to get to know some bloggers in a short time.
* Some wrote spotlight posts that didn't do anything to let them as new visitors know what they could expect or see on their blog.
* Some mentioned they tried searching for about me pages on some blogs that grabbed their curiosity to see if they could find more on if that was a person they wanted to follow. But many didn't have an ABOUT PAGE or didn't have much to their pages.
Because of this, the idea for this post came about.
#1 People who visit your blog want to know who you are.
Not every reader is also a blogger. The vast majority of people who read blogs aren't bloggers at all. They stumble upon your page in because a search engine brought them there because of a topic you wrote on. If they are intrigued if they liked your post they came across, they are going to search more about you. They want to see your About page, see who is the blogger behind the scenes. They want to know who you are.
#2 So you can show viewers your personality.
If someone comes across your page, they may look at your about me page. You should make sure your blogger personality shines through on it. Everyone has a unique voice, we all have our own personalities that make us who we are as bloggers. Our personalities are going to attract people to our blogs. If you don't have an about page that showcases your personality, your potentially losing many followers who may have become long term followers if they found out more about you the first time they visited your blog.
#3 So you can tell others why you started writing.
Did something happen in your life that impacted you and that was the reason you started a blog? Or maybe you did it because it was a fun way to talk about your hobbies and talents. No matter the reason, you have a story and you should share it. This is essentially your time to advertise (so to speak) to others why they should follow your blog.
#4 To show off your mission statement.
If you are a blogger you likely have a mission statement. If not, I highly recommend you consider writing one. This can be who you are, what you believe, what drives you. There are many things that can make up a mission statement. It doesn't have to be big and long either. I once saw a gal's blog who summed her's up in the most fabulous one sentence I have ever seen. I've also seen lengthy ones that really move and inspire. Your about page is one of the most incredible opportunities to share your blogs mission statement show others why you are who you are and why you do what you do.
#5 Advertisers do look at these.
I understand not all bloggers have any desire to turn their blog into a business and start reviewing products or creating posts to make money on their blogs. But those that do have a desire to at any point in their blogging career turn a profit. If you don't have an About page, you are going to miss out on many opportunities. Last year alone, I can easily say I had over 30 advertisers reach out to me. Based on something they saw on my About Me page that they liked and said intrigued them to contact me. It's also one of the first pages advertisers look at when you reach out to them. If you can intrigue them enough in your initial email contact. Trust me I know, I used to work in advertising and marketing. The about page is the first thing you go for. To decide if you want to pursue or ignore them.
Those are my 5 reasons why every blogger needs an about me page. But there are a few other things you should consider.

* Intrigue, Capture and introduce yourself in a way that grabs attention.
* Your Mission Statement.
* A way to contact you.

How To Bring an Old Post to New Life
I've never claimed to be an expert blogger, but what I am really great at is online advertising and marketing, thanks to spending many years in that field of work.
Although the two are different, they have very many similarities.
Thanks to having worked with news sources I also have a pretty good background in smart SEO practices for written materials. Which also makes it quite helpful in blogging SEO. These reason's are why I feel I am a pretty good source of information on this subject and have decided to tell you more about it today to help you while you are trying to grow your blogs.
Today, I am going to tell you the correct way to bring an old post back to life, or how to re-create an old post. As well as make sure you understand the do's and don'ts of guest blogging. In ways that will make sure you don't accidentally have your blog tagged by search engines in bad ways.
I'm going to do my very best to simplify this a little so that even the non-techies can understand it without hearing all the big SEO (Search Engine Optimization) terms and having no clue what I am talking about.
So if you are great with SEO, and you are wondering why the post sounds very basic, then that is why!
Let's start with bringing an old post back to life, or re-creating a post from the past. If you are anything like me, you probably do take a bit of time creating a post. I estimate about an hour to write a post, and 20-30 minutes to create the images for the post. Unless its a research post, which then of course takes quite a bit more time.
Occasionally, especially if you have been blogging for years, you may want to go through and pick some older posts that you really liked that you ran years ago and give them a makeover and re-run them.
Did you know there is a right and wrong way to do this?
WRONG WAY - Copy and pasting an old post into a new post, exact work for word.
Why is this wrong? The search engine crawlers they don't like to see the exact same content on more than one web page, they think of it as copied material and allegedly hurts your site to do so. It's also called a big SEO no no Duplicate Content Penalty.
Google treats it as plagiarism, yes even if it is from your own site, and the biggest mistake any writer can make is copying someones work, and lets face it if you want your posts to come up in search engines Google is a big one you don't want to have them bury your site because it considers it plagiarism.
On a side note: If you like to run Adsense ads on your blog and learn a little side income. If in time your site has been tagged as copied content, they can actually ban you from being able to run ads on your site.
How to fix it? You've probably gotten better in your writing anyway, so re-write it. You can still imply the same meaning behind it, and yes you can copy some of it word for word. But for the most part, re-invent it and make it better. Possibly even add more content to it, new things you've learned about the subject along the way.
Another idea, why not take a past post and put an opposite spin on it. Like if you wrote a post on How to Run Uphill, why not re-create it to How to Run Downhill and establish even more credit on your blog as a how to resource that covers the subject.
I have a smaller blog, will it really matter? Depends on if you ever plan on growing your blog, or would like to run advertising on it. Although this is a subject that is widley debated in the SEO field, I like to look at it like this. If you can learn to do something correctly why not do it! No matter your motives now for your blog, they may change later and if you practice good habits now, then if you change later you won't have to worry about things.
It's true one of the best ways we as bloggers can get our name out there to a new audience is guest blogging on larger blogs than our own. That is where we create a post for a website/blog that likely has links to our own. It involves gaining a new audience and link sharing, the very things that help build blogs.
So often bloggers create an awesome post for another website or blog and they are so excited because they spent so much time on it, they want to share it on their own site as well. So they copy and past the exact post they wrote, and put it up on their own site and think nothing else of it, because they wrote it. This can be a huge mistake!
If you are a guest blogger on another website/blog never post the exact same post up on your own blog. Two things can happen, both sites can be dinged by the web crawlers as using copied news sources. Or if one site is much bigger than the other, the smaller can actually be dinged more for bad SEO practices.
Most news media/larger blogs should be telling you and having you agree you won't do this before you guest post. In fact if you write for online newspapers, like I have in the past they will even make you sign an electronic waiver that you wont do this.
However, if you are guest posting on blogger sites, bloggers may not know to tell you this, or they may even suggest you post it up on your own after a few weeks.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO IF I WANT TO SHARE MY WORK ON MY OWN SITE?
YES!!!! There is one thing you can do, to avoid getting in trouble with the search engine crawlers and it's so simple. At the beginning of your re-post, add this tag into your HTML field (replacing the website with the actual link to where your original article ran on the other site.)
<link rel=“canonical" href="www.theblogsitethatyouroriginalpostappeared.com"/>
That is it, and its so simple and if you do that you can re-post your guest post anywhere else you want, and no penalties will be given to you!
If you are asked to submit posts to other sites, or other sites ask you if they can share your work on their site. It's still okay, go for it, get your name out there!
More than likely if they are a bigger website they are already doing this. But it is completely within your right to let them know they need to attach the original version link to the post for correct SEO practices.
If you don't do this, basically when this happens, think of it as the little guy (smaller blog) is the one that will get dinged the most and the smaller one is likely going to be the one who gets the penalties. Or it will be the one who copied and put the content up 2nd.
Don't try to trick the system either. When I say trick, I mean don't think changing a few words here and there or deleting one word here or there will be a quick fix. Just add the simple HTML link and there are no worries you can re post as you want!
We may think of the internet as such a large and massive thing, that how could it possibly find my copied post mistake? But if you are thinking that, you are wrong. Search engines are crawling the web and pulling new data all the time. You are not immune just because you think you are small in the vast world that consists online. Some of the larger blogs, have even been web crawled 10 times in just a few hours of their post going live.
So the keys to take from this are:
* Never copy and past entire posts, word for word to re-run them from your own blog.
* Never share your own exact guest post on your blog without attaching an original copy link.
* If you are going to bring a new post back to life, take the time to re-create it, meaning re-write it, give it new substance and meaning.
Even though this is a How To post, don't let anything I talked about above scare you if you have made mistakes in the past!
Just start correcting things going forward. If you have the time, you can definitely go into past guest posts that you have re posted and take a few seconds and add that tag at the beginning. But don't worry about rushing anything this minute/week/month. Just relax and practice better habits going forward.
This is one of those subjects that many argue on, and wonder who and if anyone actually gets penalized and how they are actually penalized. I have heard so many back and forth on it, I personally don't think the argument matters.
For myself, if I know something "might" not be right, I am not going to do it and I will do what I know "will" be okay.
Education even in the blogging world is key to not only building a better blog, but increasing your chances of growing your blog.
So tell me, was this something you already knew about?
Do you find these types of subjects on my blog helpful? This year during blog hops, and on the first Thursday of the month I have been hitting up Grow Your Blog topics, I'd love to know if this is something you'd like me to keep up, or not for the future!
Although the two are different, they have very many similarities.

GUEST BLOGGING
<link rel=“canonical" href="www.theblogsitethatyouroriginalpostappeared.com"/>
(Canonical is a computer word that means, original version.)

DON'T SWEAT IT
Even though this is a How To post, don't let anything I talked about above scare you if you have made mistakes in the past!
How to blog when you don't have time to blog
For those who enjoy running and operating a blog, with the hopes to grow it. We sometimes find ourselves strapped for time.
Maybe there are days or a week where we only have a few minutes a day online, but not enough time to put together a quality post. Since quality is better than quantity there is really no point to throwing something together quickly for the sake of a post.
Instead, why not take advantage of your great and previous hard work!
I'm going to give you one of my blog tips, that helps keep my page views up. At times brings new unique visitors to my blog on days/weeks I cannot write an actual post. Best part is, it only takes me about 2-5 minutes a day to do it.
To do this, you will want to use your social media accounts ( Facebook or Twitter work best.) But those who have their strongest numbers come from Pinterest they could easily do this there as well.
For myself I find Twitter works much better for me when I do this. So I am going to use Twitter for the rest of my example.
Go back though your Blogging History and find a tweet that you sent out about one of your popular previous posts through the years.
(Or pre-save tweets to your most popular posts on a file on your phone, to use later if you want to try this.)
When you have a minute, go in and copy a previous tweet or social mention and paste it into a new tweet, and post it live. Make sure to use great #hashtags
Or take a few seconds longer and create a new tweet and attach a link to your post to it, with some great hash tags.
In fact if you have a couple of minutes, do this with a few of your posts, I do about 1-4 at a time. Not more than that, so it doesn't look like I am over tweeting during that hour.
(While your at it, take a few seconds to favorite or re-tweet other people you follow, it's always great to do a little networking, because when people see you taking notice of them, they are more likely to take notice of you.)
You could actually do this 6-8 times a day, even if it's the same tweet (just change it a little so it will allow you to retweet.) Or any time you have a free few minutes pick a new tweet to bring back to life and drive more traffic to your blog.
The best part about using previous tweets, you already have all your hash tags, URL's so it's literally a quick copy and past and DONE!
I know, how simple is that! I find that when I don't have time to post, it's the easiest and simplest thing to do, that takes hardly no time at all.
What I find is, my page views increase significantly when I do this.
However, don't expect to see lots of comments or any and don't be disappointed about that. These viewers are not necessarily your normal blog followers, these are those who you're grabbing their quick interest based on your topic or "Call to Action" words you use. At times I even find they are great re-tweeters too!
Remember, when it comes down to growing your blog, generally page views and time spent on your site mean more to potential advertisers than comments.
If you don't utilize social media, your missing out on a lot of potential viewers. Which is why I highly recommend growing your social media influence in the ways you prefer best, and the ways that have in the past brought the most traffic to your blog!
