A Tale of Two Centuries by Rachel Harris

You know when you sit down to read a book and you just can't put it down because it's exactly what your mind needed to be reading?  Well A Tale of Two Centuries by Rachel Harris was exactly just that for me.  I needed a cute clean romance story that was too fun to put down.  Luckily for me, this was the perfect book for me to grab.

I read the authors first book My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century (which I loved), and I assumed this sequel would be a lot like that one, and even guessed I would already know how it ended.  But Rachel Harris did an amazing job, the ending wasn't like I was expecting and although it's been a year since I read the first book.  I honestly think I loved this one even more than the first!

Alessandra D'Angeli is bored with her sixteenth century life.  She wants more, needs more and craves adventure.  When her wish is granted she is magically transplanted into today.  Everything she knows is different, from all of the technology, cars, clothing and more.  She appears on Cat's doorstep and Cat knowing how she feels helps her acclimate into her temporary new life of discovery.

Alessandra is hesitant about everything, and not used to having so many choices and options in front of her.  As none of these things or opinions were allowed of her in her previous sixteenth century life.  She's having a hard time opening up and being willing to explore.  That is until she meets the handsome surfer Austin Michaels.  She's never met a guy who makes her so angry yet so curious at the same time.  Austin sweeps Alessandra into new possibilities and adventures while slowly capturing her heart.

I found this book impossible to put down!  A Tale of Two Centuries had me smiling most of the way through as I couldn't flip the pages fast enough.  An adorable romance with a handsome surfer, sixteenth century girl and a little magic from the stars.  If you love a good clean YA, you will absolutely love A Tale of Two Centuries by Rachel Harris.  This author has me hooked, I love her writing and can't wait until her next release!
