Diet To Go Meals in Review

For those of you who read my blog, you've probably recently noticed I had gotten myself into bit of a fitness slump, and really needed something to jump start me back into life in the way I want it to be.

Barbecue Chicken, Anise Roasted Potatoes, Baked Beans & Green Beans
Dinner - Traditional Plan

That jump start opportunity came in the mail in the form of a large cooler filled with delicious Diet-to-Go meals.  I wish I could tell you that on my own I have been able to always eat healthy and make nutritious meals.  But the truth is, lately when it was left up to me I wasn't exactly eating as I should have been and I had been eating out at restaurants way too often.
Thrilled with this opportunity, I wasn't going to let it pass so I jumped on it!!

Here's is my favorite thing in my opinion about the Diet-To-Go meals, they are pre-calorie counted and they are HUGE.  In fact, generally lunch and dinners were more than I could eat in one meal.  Which is awesome, because I never felt hungry.  Additionally, they actually taste good, delicious in fact.  They aren't like other diet brands I have tried in the past, where you have to sacrifice on taste, these gourmet meals really honestly DO taste great!
Whether you want Low Fat, Low Carb or Vegetarian they have meal plans designed specifically for you!

This is actually my 3rd week trying out their meals, and each time I have ordered the Traditional Low Fat Menu.  Their menu's are so large, that I haven't eaten the same meal in any of the 3 weeks I tried the meals.  I find that to be pretty cool!  Diet-to-Go also provides full weight loss support, you can contact them directly with any questions or concerns or help you may need in your dietary needs.

I'm a busy person, I'm a wedding planner, and I also have a 2nd job.  You throw in a personal life, and it doesn't leave a ton of time to make and cook meals, which is another fabulous reason I liked the fresh pre-made Diet-To-Go meals.  I'd just select the night before what I planned to eat the next day, and take those meals from the freezer and place into the fridge.  Some required short heating as preparation, others did not.  The longest meal preparation, one took me 5 minutes of cooking time and I let it cooled for a couple of minutes before eating.  Easy peasy, and it all tastes like a home cooked meal (sometimes better).

If your not familiar with Diet-to-Go, let me tell you how simple it is.  You just go online, select the meals you would like and then they are shipped to your door in a large cooler.  Fresh and ready for you to begin eating.  At anytime, you can go online and change what meals you are getting to try out their other meal plan options.  If you have allergies, or other dietary issues, just contact them directly and they will work with you to get you exactly what you need.

They are seriously a great company and I highly recommend them!

  4. Did they send you the 1200 calorie meal plan or the 1600? If that's the 1200, it looks fabulous. I'd probably gain weight on 1600 though. Thanks very much for the review.

    1. I received the 1200 calorie plan. Actually if you are an active person, the 1600 wouldn't likely add pounds at all:)
