Sleep No More by Aprilynne Pike

This book I came across by accident, I was trying to put a copy of her other series on hold when I saw that Aprilynne Pike had this new book out.
If you know me, you know I really enjoy Aprilynne Pikes books.  Her Wings series was one of my favorites and I am currently enjoying the Earthbound series.

Sleep No More was a fabulous surprise, I read through this book so fast.  By the time I finished I was loving it all and can't wait until I read the next book,

Charlotte is an Oracle, she learned about herself and what it means from a young age.  Being able to see the future.  The only problem is, her aunt has also taught her that she should try to avoid seeing the future and never interfere.
Charlotte made the mistake in her childhood trying to change the future and because of it, her father is dead and her mother in a wheelchair.

One day a vision strikes Charlotte and she isn't able to keep it from coming on.  Then when she starts seeing more and more visions, and those visions are of her classmates dying.  Not just classmates, but individuals she knows.
Then a text from a man named Smith arrives with no warning and before she knows it, she is going back on all she was taught and doing all she can to change the future and keep the victims from getting murdered.  The only big problem with stopping a murder, is that sometimes it puts Charlotte in the path of the murder herself.

Hiding what she is doing, and going at everything on her own keeping her aunt (who is also an Oracle) out of the loop.  She isn't sure if what she is doing is saving lives, or possibly ending her own.

Sleep No More is a fast paced book, that will keep you guessing and eating up each and every word.  Although this book does have an ending, it also leaves openings for what will happen next.  This book was just release in the Spring of 2014, however if you want to read the 2nd book and conclusion Sleep of Death, it was released last month as an ebook.
I haven't been able to see any information that this is going to be turned into paper format.  However, the good news is, you don't have to wait a year to hear how it ends.  However, if you are like me and don't really enjoy reading via ebook, then guess you just have to suck it up and give it a try like I am going to!

This is a great book, it is Young Adult, but even adults will enjoy (in fact, possibly even more.)  Fast paces, great and original story.  If you are like me, this is a must read!  Aprilynne Pike didn't disappoint me at all in this!  In fact, it's one of my new favorites!
